Volunteering at Cedars Cancer Foundation
Since the inception of the Cedars Cancer Foundation, volunteers have contributed to the development and growth of the foundation. Our devoted volunteers work very hard throughout the year to ensure outstanding levels of care & services are always provided.
As a volunteer, you are an important member of the Cedars Cancer Foundation team. If you are looking for an exciting and enriching opportunity to make a meaningful impact and connect with the community, we would love to hear from you.
You will be contributing to the growth and empowerment of outstanding patient care, leading edge research and excellence in education in the fight against cancer throughout the continuum of life, from pediatrics, adolescent, and adult through supportive and palliative care.

With more than three decades of continued support from our generous golfers and sponsors, Cedars is proud to, once again, offer a wonderful day of golf, all for the cause. Proceeds are directed to Cedars’ Mission: Support for cancer care, research and education from pediatrics through to palliative care. The funds support Cedars’ commitment to pediatric oncology at the Montreal Children’s Hospital through Sarah’s Fund, adolescent and young adult, adult and palliative cancer care at the MUHC, as well as a leadership gift for cancer research at the MUHC Research Institute.A fun filled day

Fuller Landau presents the 13th annual Cedars CanSupport ‘Rain or Shine’ Dragon Boat Race and Festival.Dragon Boat racing originated in Southern China and started gaining popularity in North America in the 1970s. It is the fastest growing water sport in the world and increasingly popular as a corporate team building sport and as a fundraiser. Each boat holds 20 paddlers, 1 steer person, and 1 drumm.
Staged on and along the waterfront of Montreal’s scenic Promenade Père-Marquette in Lachine, the Fuller Landau Cedars CanSupport ‘Rain or Shine’ Dragon Boat Race & Festival is a full day of competition and festivities.

The Ride for Hope and Gratitude is a proud supporter of the Cedars-Laneuville Cell Therapy Initiative through the Ensign Ewart Research Fund. The mission of this ride is to raise funds for the creation of a new Cell Therapy Unit under the direction of Dr.Pierre Laneuville of the McGill University Health Centre, administered through the Cedars Cancer Foundation.- Greeters

The Dagenais Joly-Smith Fund and the Cedars Cancer Foundation Run for Ovarian Cancer. A fundraising event dedicated to raising awareness while helping diagnose Ovarian and Endometrial Cancer in its early stages.- Greeters

The Annual Cedars Auction and Raffle Soirée has become a given tradition for thousands of supporters who look forward to the pre-Christmas event and their chance to be a champion for Cedars. The success of fundraising events is due to the incredible hard work of our dedicated and committed volunteers.Third party events are fundraisers hosted and coordinated by individuals, organization and programs from the community to benefit the Cedars Cancer Foundation.
